Get to know Lucy Mix Art and let me tell you a little bit about myself...
My name is Lucia, I’m from Slovakia, and I’m the creative heart behind Lucy Mix Art – a name that combines who I am and the technique I fell in love with: mixed media.
Since I was young, I’ve been drawn to creativity – from journaling and sketching to painting and experimenting with different crafts. I used to write in my diary, doodle and paint, and I still find joy in journaling to this day. That desire to create led me to explore various techniques like candle making, painting on silk, glass, and textiles, as well as decoupage and floral arranging.
But it was assemblage that truly captivated me – a mixed media technique full of freedom, layers, and symbolism. It felt like coming home. Through it, I found a way to merge my love for crafting and memory-keeping. I began experimenting, learning through trial and error, and eventually creating photo frames that felt like tiny works of art.
In 2020, I founded Lucy Mix Art to give form to that vision – to make decor that tells a story and holds emotional value. While I work full-time, creating art is where I pour my heart. Each piece I make is a blend of emotion, detail, and meaning – not just a pretty object, but something that speaks.
